WHAT WE BELIEVE

Native Americans have left many wonderful, lasting impressions in the minds of the people of the Southwest.  But none is so memorable as the impression left by the bright smiles of the children. Improving and maintaining those smiles through the years means receiving proper dental care in their youth.  And that’s the primary purpose of The Smiles Movement.

The Smiles Movement believes that each child deserves the opportunity to be successful. The key to that success includes good oral health.  We believe that access to dental care is critical, but sometimes difficult to achieve.  Therefore, for the convenience of the community, we bring this care to the people utilizing our state of the art, self-contained mobile dental units providing all phases of dentistry.

The Smiles Movement works closely with the Tribal Governments, school districts, and with other members of the child’s health care team.

Parents do not have to be present for their children to be treated, but they are always welcome and encouraged to participate.  There is no cost to the patients, their parents, or the schools we serve.
